Blue skies and a Grand Slam!

Thanks also to our marchers who represented Westport RFC on the streets of Westport at the St. Patrick’s Day parade.

It was an early start for our U16 Girls who hosted Buccaneers RFC Sunday morning and came away victors 50-0.

Both our Senior Men’s teams were in action yesterday afternoon, with visitors Ballinasloe the opposition on both occasions. The First XV overpowered Ballinasloe in a very physical and tightly fought contest, eventually coming away with a 41-26 victory. The 2nd XV had a challenge on their hands, but finished up with the win, 25-14.

It was a day of fabulous sunshine and a great spectacle of rugby. Thanks to everyone who travelled down to support our teams.
