U14 Boys travelled to Creggs today for their last Cup Pool game. True to form Mark O'Connor scored Westports first try in the opening minutes with Cohan O'Grady converting. Creggs followed with a try, narrowing the margin but did not convert. Half time score 7:5 
Creggs were first to score in the second half, then leading by 3 points. 
Westport demonstrated great determination and teamwork with excellent ball handling by the lads, resulting in Charlie Mc Loughlin with an incredible run up the wing scoring Westports' second try, converted by Cohan. Creggs battled on, putting up a great effort but Westport saw the game out, and the win was secured with excellent support play by all the team to set Mark O'Connor up with his second try, successfully converted.  Final score 21:10. Thanks to Creggs for their hospitality and their impressive facilities. Thanks to the parents who travelled to support.
