Four players from Westport RFC wore the Green of Connacht today for the first time, one player has to wait a little longer. 
Five players in total from Westports u16s made the Connacht u17 squad after spending a year in the Connacht Regional Development Squad system.
Felix Zeray, Cian Silke, Hugh Mcguirk,  Liam Cadden and Matthew Mullaney have made the Summer squad.
Felix Zeray was promoted straight to the U18 squad on his first day and played his first game for Connacht U18s today. He will be part of the Connacht u18 squad for the Interpro Series, it will be great for Felix, his Family and of course Westport RFC. 
Cian Silke, Hugh McGuirk and Liam Cadden played for the Connacht u17s today.  Matthew Mullaney did not tog today due to a slight tummy bug although he too was due to debut for Connacht u17s today.
Both the Connacht u17s and u18s played the Rugby Academy from the USA.  Both games were a real high standard and hopefully the boys can bring the same standard back to Westport RFC.
