What a fantastic start to the league for our U18 Ladies today! They met Creggs RFC at home on a beautiful, crisp autumn afternoon — perfect rugby weather 🍂

It was fireworks from the very first whistle, with Orla Palasz crossing the line for a try just 30 seconds in! The tries kept coming from Poppy Tunney Ware, Ceola Durkan, Leah McNamara, two from Tara Macken, and a final one from Kitty Fin Sweeney 👏

Shortly after halftime, with the score tipping past 40 points, the game turned into a friendly — a great display of sportsmanship from both sides. Midway through the second half, players from both teams mixed together, and the pitch filled with laughter, teamwork, and friendship — the true spirit of rugby 💚

Final score: 40–7   Player of the match: Poppy Tunney Ware. 

Well done to all the players, coaches, parents and supporters — a brilliant start to the season! 🙌
